Time for a Check-Up - Jack @ 4

Again, sorry for the delay:)  Jack had his 4 year check up at the doctors a few weeks ago and he did fantastic.  At this appointment, in addition to all the regular "checks", they did a hearing and vision test and gave Jack 5 shots!  4 vaccinations and a flu shot...and he as amazing!!  Barely cried at all.  He got a "brave" certificate from the doctor (which had a coupon for a free sundae from Chik-fil-A, a sticker and pencil and then mommy took him to the Toy story for another special treat (of course).  Mommy was just SO proud of her big boy!

Stats:  Height = 39.25 inches   Weight = 34 lbs   25% in both

Georgia Grace at 5 months

My little "GG" is now 5 months old (well as of September 30th) - I took these cute shots of her on her 5 month birthday.  She is amazing - sleeping through the night and so happy all the time.  She still has some tummy/reflux issues, and cutting 2 bottom teeth, but otherwise happy and healthy.  She really is interacting so great with everyone - especially her favorite people - Jack and Ciara:)

First...my apologies

Yes, it has been over a month without even one post.  Did you think we stopped having FUN??? No...., but mommy did go back to work and well, things are still a little overwhelming.  Three kids (and a Doodles) and working leaves very little time for uploading pics:(   Tonight, while the kids sleep and Daddy is out, I will try to bring everyone up to speed...let the postings....BEGIN:)

Time for a Check Up! Georgia's 4 Month Stats

 

As promised, we had Georgia's 4 month check up today.  Her stats are below - she is doing great...although we could get her to gain a little more weight;)  As a benchmark, Jack and Ciara had the same measurements at 4 months, but Ciara weighed 14 lbs and Jack weighed 13.8 lbs.

 

  She did amazing at the doctors and got 5 vaccinations today (yikes!)  But you would never know it from looking at these shots on the examining table.  Love my Georgia Grace.  She is really starting to "move" and we have to watch her closely - will try to get video this weekend.

 

Height - 25 1/2 inches (90%)

Weight - 12 lbs 14 oz (25%)

Head - 42.2 cm (75%)

The kids started school last week....Jack is in Pre-K, so he is the "big kid" on the block these days:)  They are going 5 days a week, which is a new adventure for everyone.  Ciara also got "moved up" to the Giraffe room.  So far, everyone is doing great, despite Ciara's not-so-happy mood on the first day;)

And so it begins....

I tried to fight it as long as I could, but the boy has discovered Star Wars.....  We got home from his birthday party very late and he was allowed to open/play with one gift before bed.  So of course he chose the Star Wars action figures that Uncle Jason so kindly got him;)  If you ask him at any time what his favorite gift was, it was Star Wars....he even went to school and told everyone about Star Wars....forget that mommy and daddy got him a big boy bike....Star Wars....

Hard to believe that my first baby is now 4 years old.  Last weekend we had a fabulous weekend with family and friends celebrating 4 years.  Jack has grown into a little man that I am so proud of.  I can't wait to see what the next year brings for him!

The Party!

We had Jack's birthday party at Annie's Playground this year.  It was a hit and the weather was perfect!  It was the first time we had a party where we invited friends from Jack's school and he LOVED it.  He had a great time:)  Here's a glimpse into the fun and Cars party details:)

Georgia Grace is 4 months old!

Such a cutie...all happy after her bath from Daddy:)  She doesn't have her appointment until next Tuesday, but I wanted to share a photo at any rate.  Will update with all her stats next week.  In my expert doctor opinion, she is PERFECT:)  (just teething like crazy!)

First Pitch

Jack got to throw out the first pitch at the Aberdeen Ironbirds game tonight (our minor league team).  What a night for this special 4 year old:)

More Little Fishies
