Our Song For Daddy

This was not the original version we sang to Daddy on Saturday - you should have seen the smile on his face! We "re-recorded" on Sunday so we were a little off, but you get the point. Jack loves playing on his bongo drum that we got him int he Bahamas. (Pardon Baby Jack's crazy hair...we still haven't gotten his Easter haircut...stay tuned for that one!)

Daddy's Bday

This weekend we celebrated Daddy's birthday! First I helped mommy clean the house so it was nice and clean for Daddy:) Then we made breakfast (mmmm Belgian waffles) and for dinner we had STEAMED CRABS!!

Mommy and I even went to Tarjay to pick out a nice card for Daddy. But he said his FAVORITE gift was the song mommy and me sang to him - we played the piano and drums and sang an original Jack/Mommy tune;)

Is it Spring yet???

So we are still 'defrosting' from our 2 blizzards a few weeks back. The temperature got into the mid-50's today so we had to get out of the house and to the park. Funny thing...there was still snow in our sandbox....oh well!

My Friend Maddie's First Birthday Party

Jack had a great time at his friend Maddie's FIRST birthday party yesterday! From all the toys, to the great cupcakes and even the cool indoor slide - Jack partied till the cow cames home;) And boy was mommy tired too!

Jack's 18-month Check Up

My little baby is growing into a TODDLER:) The appointment went great (well aside from the mini tantrums since Jack HATES the doctor!) The Doc said Jack is doing great and even a little advanced for his verbal skills....he was doubly impressed that one of Jack's words is "Testudo" (go Terps!). Jack's stats are below with a recent 18-month photo taken this morning before church:) Next check up is at 2 years (sniff sniff)

Height - 32.25 inches (50 percentile)

Weight - 22.9 lbs (10 percentile)

Head Circ - 48.4 cm (50-75 percentile)

Babymoon #2

A tradition for mommy and daddy is to escape for a "quiet" break before our baby is born. Before Curly Fry enters the world, we decided to head to the Bahamas for a few days. We missed Jack terribly, but he had a great time at Nana's and Grandpop's.
