We stopped by the doctor's office today for Jack's 2 year check up. My little guy is growing up (little by little)...and his head is still unusually large for his little body:) He didn't really like the doctor or nurse...but after the screaming he was very polite and said "thank you" and "bye doctor"...the doc was impressed with his logic and verbal abilities...and his screaming and brute strength in fighting EVERYTHING we did.

We have some pretty famous sunflower fields in Harford County...people travel from all over the country to visit this time of year. Unfortunately we waited about a week too late...don't get me wrong, everything was beautiful....but they were just a little droopy;) But we all made some great memories this afternoon.
Mommy's rocking chair from when she was a baby is now safely in Ciara's nursery. She tested it out for a little while last weekend and really liked it. The chair is 35+ years old but it fits her like a glove! 
What a fabulous day (Aug 29th)! Pastor Mike performed the service and our family and friends were all there to help us celebrate. Jack played the role of super proud big brother very well.. Afterwards we had a great party outside at the park...sharing the festivities with Jack's second birthday party. We are so lucky and blessed!
