To the beach for Father's Day weekend...it was short and sweet. The kids had a great time with Daddy, Uncle Jason and Papa.

We sang to Ciara on her actual birthday (May 31) while we were at the beach. Just the four of us on the deck of the beach condo....perfect! And as you can see, she has her mommy's affinity for chocolate cake! Happy Birthday Ciara Rose!

Ciara's One Year Stats

Ciara Rose had her 1-year check up today and everything was great. We are really blessed. She is a little small - except for that big noggin. So really, just like her big brother;) She is a really fun 1-year old. Some of her words now are momma, nana, dada, papa, mom-mom, uh-oh, and of course Doodles;) She is eating table food (LOTS) and drinking from a cup (without a lid). She still will only drink milk from a bottle, so our next "challenge" is getting rid of that bottle. She is really, really close to walking and she can climb stairs faster than any baby I've seen! She loves music - especially when Jack sings her a song or plays her music on his guitar.

She is our fiery little red head and it is so fun to see her personality show more every day. She is definitely more assertive and vocal than Jack was and wants her way NOW. She has the highest pitch scream when she wants something - water, milk, a cracker;0)

Some of her stats are below and a few shots of the "big girl"
Height - 28 3/4 in (25 - 50%)...she only grew one inch in the last 3 months!
Weight - 20lb 3oz (25-50%)
Head - 46.3 cm (75-90%)

Still crawling...but she can totally walk if she would just let go;)

Her favorite activity - climbing up the stairs (and sometimes falling back down;)

Airshow at Andrews AFB

Jack, his cousins and a few friends went to the Air Show at Andrews Air Force base a couple weeks ago. The kids had a blast! *Note we got this boy straight to the salon for a hair cut once I saw these pics;) There are some much better shots at the beach coming soon!

(sorry a day late:) Ciara Rose is ONE! Yesterday we celebrated a low-key family day as we wrapped up our long weekend at the beach. A crazy party is planned for Saturday - in the meantime enjoy some fun shots of Lil' Red's special day yesterday.
