Happy 2nd Birthday John Finnian!
Today is Jack's 2nd Birthday! I can't believe he is 2 already;) We started with breakfast in mommy's bed (waffles on his zoo-pal plates).Then we got dressed for school in our new shirt...
...then off to the store to pick out the ice cream cake for the party with Jack's school friends. We even picked up a balloon! We had a fun pizza/ice cream party at school with all Jack's friends in the Lion Room and his new teachers (who promised to take pics;).
Then we got a haircut (umm, there are no pictures of that "fun" part of the day for a reason) and off to dinner for more pizza!
This busy, busy day ended with Nana and Grandpop dropping off their present - a new chair to watch TV (think ICarly). Tomorrow we are off to Dutch Wonderland with the cousins and the big party is on Sunday....stay tuned!

Sundaes in the Park
We snuck in one final weekend at the beach last weekend! It was tons of fun at the "ocean pool" as Jack calls it. On our last night (Sunday) we walked over to Northside Park for the "Sundaes in the Park" where they have a live band and everyone makes ice cream sundaes. We all danced and danced. Just good clean, wholesome family fun...and as the band played the last song a marvelous thunderstorm rolled in and we all went scurrying home...drenched;)

Babies Love Books - Graduation
Jack and Nana have been going to "Babies Love Books" at our library since he was 6 months old. It is their special time. Every other Wednesday they meet at the library for songs, dancing and books. Mommy and Ciara snuck in today to watch as Jack had his very last session since he will be 2 next week and - according to Harford County Library - no longer a "baby". Ms. Margaret gave him a nice certificate for his graduation and everyone clapped for him...which kind of took him off guard;) He's still my shy little baby even if he is too old for Babies Love Books;)

Rooooarrrrr - Ciara's new friend
Jack went to school today and *accidently* left his dinosaur Rex on mommy's bed....well Ciara and Rex are now BFFs :) We'll see how this relationship develops!
