Doodles - the eager "big sister"

Even Doodles is getting ready and eager to meet her new 'sibling' -- she has BIG plans for playing in the yard, exploring the forest and building forts with Tater Tot!

Patiently waiting...

and at least semi-ready with the crib and nursery starting to come together. Maybe by posting these "in progress" pics, it will stir the little Tater Tot into coming out;) Just over a week away from our due date and things seem to be progressing well....slow, but well. Although we still have alot to do in the nursery and house, we are super excited to meet our new little baby and know that we can never be truly "ready". We don't want to bring any anxious feelings into the house - just calm and peace - so even though we probably have a list 10 feet long of things still to do - we know in our heart she/he has all they need in 2 loving parents (and grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) and that is all that matters.

Toasted Cashew

The new color of our nursery walls....not too dark, not too light. Should look good with our green accents (curtains, rugs, bedding) Stay tuned;)

Thanks Dad for all your hard work on the painting!

36 weeks (well really now 37+ weeks)

Here's the last sonogram of Tater Tot before the BIG DAY. It was taken last week when we were at 36 weeks. At that point, this little baby was measuring in the 89% for gestation and estimated to be 7 pounds 11 oz!! Of course they tell you that it can be a pound +/- either way, but even a pound LESS is still a big baby for 36 weeks;) I want a big fat baby.....I just hope that I can deliver a big fat baby.

Up until now, things have been measuring pretty small/average so little Tater Tot has had quite a growth spurt lately. Hopefully it will slow down and maintain;) We have a dr's appointment tomorrow so we'll see where we are at. Just a few more weeks to go!
