My baby girl is 5 months old this weekend! She is getting so big (and strong!). She is starting to eat cereal, rolling all over front and back, she sits up with a little help, she is starting to jump in her jumperoo and just jib jabbering away. Her most favorite thing though is getting hugs and kisses from her big brother Jack. She just lights up! Here are few shots from our busy day today.

It is rare that Mommy catches Jack on the video without him wanting to grab the camera from me! These are just a few fun videos of my little boy brushing his teeth...he is quite the performer (and yes he has 2 toothbrushes...I had one for overnight stays at mom-moms and one for home but now he must use both of them at the same time!) If you listen closely you will catch certain tunes such as "Happy Birthday" and "Twinkle Twinkle"...enjoy!

my baby girl is getting so big! We tried cereal tonight and she did pretty good....only a few spoons but she didn't hate it;) Makes mommy a little sad to hit another milestone;(

Stitches! (the first of many I'm sure;)

Well, Jack got his first stitches today;( He fell in his classroom today and hit a bookcase. Daddy took him to urgent care and Mommy raced home in rush hour traffic to get there just as they were finishing up. My little guy was so scared and frightened - but he toughed it out and got a shot of lidocane and then the stitches.

We took him out for pizza and ice cream as a treat - and he is now fast asleep. I'm a little scared to see what his eye is going to look like tomorrow...but I guess this mommy has to toughen up a bit....this is going to be a long and bumpy road full of stitches;)

Gymboree!

Fun times @ Gymboree! Last week we went to Baby Michael's 1st Birthday party at Gymboree. It was tons of fun and we even had pizza and cupcakes (from Sugarbakers!). Yummy

Ciara's 4 Month Stats

We had Ciara's 4 month check up today and she (as expected) did great. The doctor was super impressed with her development and that she was so happy...even with all the poking and prodding. Jack went along for the ride and we were able to sneak in a flu shot for him - and he got a "Go Go" bandaid to show off at school tomorrow!

Here's the latest on our little girl:

Height - 25.5 inches - 90%
Weight - 14lbs 50-75% (she gained 3+ lbs since the last visit!)
Head - 42.2 cm - 75-90% - they actually measured her head 3 times so I'm not sure if this is the "final" number...apparently her head has grown at a faster rate than the rest of her and they wanted to make sure the number was correct....I think she is just finally growing into what Jack has always had...a large noggin (thanks to mommy;)

I'm still trying to get her on camera rolling back to tummy, but this was hard enough:)

Purple Fridays

During football season, Fridays are PURPLE FRIDAYS:) Jack and daddy had their Ravens gear on and even Ciara was wearing purple (but it was chilly so she had her little white sweater over top;) The kids are getting so big....Ciara is rolling over and Jack is starting to "pee pee on the potty". He can count to 20 and we are working hard on our colors. I'll try to get video of all this exciting stuff, but it gets tricky!

Ciara @ 4 Months

Happy Birthday to my baby girl....4 Months! Ciara is doing so well. She eats great and sleeps through the night like a champ:) She really is just so perfect. She started rolling over (back to front) a week ago (3 months 3 weeks). We are going to pull the jumparoo out of the attic and get her jumping all around;)

We have Ciara's 4 month check up next week so stay tuned for stats!
